Longest Post for Me I think-but it is all good!

It's been a long busy week

 and I was sooooooooo

very tired this morning so,

I slept in

 {*gasp*}

 I know-but I'm usually up at 6a.m.

so I am gonna say that this is okay for today

Today is

Family Fun Filled Friday

and I am so excited

Remember last week when I said that we had some

issues?

Well, our transmission was not working right on our car

we were thinking that we would be looking at rebuilding our

trans; not a pretty picture for finances!

I have yet to find anyone that has woke up one morning and said:

"Ahhhhh....what  a beautiful morning

I hope that my transmission in my car goes today

so that I can spend $1,500-$2,000 dollars in my

savings account to pay to fix it.

That would be so exciting!!!!"

So we were not too happy but knew that the Lord had a purpose and a plan.

We took it to our "favorite" automotive shop

they looked at it

and found out that the computer in the car had gone bad.

WE WERE SO THANKFUL THAT

THAT WAS THE ONLY PROBLEM!!!

So instead of look to spend 1,000-2,000 dollars it cost around $400.00!

The Lord is just too good to us!!

We should be going to pick up the car today

I've missed my car.....a lot

but having the larger car for the week was a benefit yesterday

especially with the groceries I picked up!

I got 30-2liter bottles of diet soda

30 boxes of Pillsbury "bake me" sugar cookie's

2 Gallons of Milk

for

FREE!!!

{One of my favorite words!!}

I still have $6 in Catalina's to spend on anything I want at the store as well:)

I had $12.00 in Catalina's to spend so I used $9.00 of it to get me enough soda to last through most of the year until next time they have the sale : )

If you know me

you know I buy enough for 6-12 months worth

because it is smarter to have it when it is on sale

then to buy it when it is full price!

{and that is my saving tip for the day}

If you have already printed them earlier this month-they have just been reloaded so you can print them again! Excellent deal!!  I have 20 packages of cheese because of these coupons : ) Praise the Lord for good coupons!!!  And if things work out right I will probably get 20 more-never can have enough cheese!!!  Just ask one of my friends Manda Malensek-she will agree with me!!

I had a good run yesterday:)  I actually paid for soda-can you believe it?! I haven't bought soda in 2 years!!!  Greg said the other day that we were about out-so without checking how many we had I went a hunting for a deal-I found two stores that had 5 packs for $11.00 which isn't too bad!  So I took advantage of Labor Day Sales and we have soda now.  I brought it home and unloaded it and asked hubby if he could put it downstairs..of course-no problem at all he says-then I asked how many cases are left downstairs of your dwindling stash of soda?  He says oh there are 10!!!  What?! 

Seems that I am not the only one that gets all panicky when we only have  2 pkgs of 16 count TP and I think that we need more STAT:) I've rubbed off on him; i just think that that is so funny that he would be worried that he was running out when he had 10 cases : ) I Capital L-Love that man!!

I had an unexpected trip to Giant....

Since Misty had her surgery we needed

Yesterday's News for her litter box-so at 10:30p.m. we were looking for a store that was 24 hours or at least open until 12:00a.m.

Giant was one of these stores that as open 24 hours:)

So they were my choice-I checked their circular to see if anything we needed was on sale.

Lo and behold they had a couple of deals that I was so happy to have found.

First off I happened across coupons for $5.00 off any 5 Kraft Cheese

and Giant was having a deal of spend

$20 on Kraft items get $5.00 off of your total purchase

so off I went to get "Yesterday's News" and some groceries.

Oh, and I found a new favorite!!

Nutella....it is so good!!Yum Yum!!

My totals were $72.39 retail price

I paid $24.80..once again not to shabby...But for sure the Lord is good!!!

The lump total would of been $640.30 but I paid: $13.32 and I have Mail in rebate so basically "they paid" me $27.00 to take all the stuff off of their hands:) The Lord is just too Good to me!!!!He always blesses me beyond measure!!!!I barely fit everything in my freezer!! Praise the LORD-it did all fit-just barely!!! I was worried trying to cram all those chimi's in the freezers-I have two and a half freezers-and they are just stocked to the brim-all with the Lord's help of course:) Without Him I can't do anything. He is my all in all!

Of course in all the excitement I forgot somethings that I needed-2 $1.00 salad, 2 $1.00 mushrooms,2 $1.00 carrots...guess I will be purchasing them somewhere else-sigh-haste and excitement sometimes creates waste....but the Lord will give me a good deal somewhere else I am sure of it:)

so I needed six to put me over $20

6 x 3.39=$20.34-I reached the purchase amount goal

So my sale cost now is

plus I had coupons (you didn't think that I would pay that much oop (out of pocket), did you? That is a high price for salad dressing)

so at the end my total cost is=$6.96
