Our Family

It was fun to set up the camera the other day to try to get a family photo.

My kiddos are so funny!! 

Who would of thought my 6 month old daughter

would have as much spunk at her age, as my 6 year old?!

Here she is loving on him....

She adores him!!

She loves to play with his hair, which she did after this photo was taken.

Then things get out of hand in her hand is more like it....

 and she yanked his hair really hard and we ended up with him crying.

Poor guy-he inherited sensitive hair from me.

I feel bad for him-seriously-he HATES getting his hair brushed because it hurts!!!

We finally got him calmed down and got our family shot.

You can still kinda tell he was upset-but he forgave her as I am sure you can see...

Those two really love each other! 

I am so blessed!!!

Boy Wonder's Impromtu Six Year Old Photo Shoot Teaser

 WOW-say that title ten times fast-hahaha

I know that is a long title..but

I have been craving to do a photoshoot

and I am happy to announce that I got one in today

My little guys birthday was last week and I wanted to do some photos of him

so today we went for a walk/bike ride

{little guy did the bike riding}

and we stopped when Mommy wanted to take some pictures.

Well, here are a few of them-I am in the middle of processing them so there will be more to come

When you ask him to hold still he gets so serious and doesn't smile.

Daddy's hat was the prop of the day-he really likes it!

Adoption Diaries April 22nd the BIG Annoucement!

Well, everyone has been wondering if we found out if the baby is a boy or girl...

Well, I am happy to annouce that the baby is healthy and that.....

I am so happy and I have been praying for 5 1/2 years for this

I am so grateful to God for answering my prayers!!!

We are jumping for JOY!!

God is so good!!!

We have three doctors vist's and I am teaching a Discipleship Class and then we have

a Vacation Bible School meeting.....

Field Trip to Farm...with Photos

We had a lot of fun at the K-5 field trip!

I had FOUR BOYS in my van!!!

30-45 min drive and they didn't kill each other!!

Hahhaaha, they really did very well-I am so proud of them.

Then when we arrived we were 15 min early and they told us the kids had to stay in the car.

OH.....apparently they don't have boys or kids in general.

Make them sit for another 15 min!!  I don't think they'll make it!

They have energy welling up inside of their little bodies....

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES.......AAHHHHH!

For having to sit for that long-they did very well.

Only a few muddy footprints on the seat{which can be cleaned up easily}

a burnt finger{Caleb being macho earlier}

a jacket with food and maybe a little mud on it

little fingers with grease from the doors

with that list I think we were doing okay.

See, they are all in one piece.

Time to tour the Farm.  First on our list was the rules

Then we saw the sheep

Then off to see the garden

I got a picture of a grapevine.....

I added texture to it

there wasn't a lot of picture perfect plants in the garden.

After the gardens we went to go see some newborn calf:

Then they got to milk a cow...the chickens came next:

We also got to see a baby piggy!!

Then we washed our hands and ate our lunches.

Our meeting with our Worker went well.

We have lots of paperwork to have filled out.

We need 3 references, 3 physicals done, finance/budget papers, FBI clearances as well as

state clearance, child abuse clearances, W2's, and a few other paper works.

We also have to write our own Autobiographies!!

There are twenty or more different topics to be covered in our autobiographies.

Jenn (our Worker) asked a lot of questions today.

How we met and ended up getting married,

what are our strengths as a couple,

and a few other things.

We will be busy this next month for sure!!

We have another meeting planned at the end of the month.

Busy, and busier......

But this shall help the time go by quickly.

We will also have to rearrange our sleeping/spare room quarters.

I will be starting Discipleship Training with one of the ladies in our church.

It will also help keep me occupied and busy.

Oh, and we have a field trip on Monday-and I will get to go!!!

I am so excited that I get to go on a field trip with my boy!!!

Well, I think this brings you up to what is happening around here.

Misty pictures

I finally got pictures of my kitty that turned out pretty good.

She is just like the rest of my family..

run and hide when the camera comes out,

or start doing something goofy so that I can't take any pictures...

This time I caught her in between the goofy parts...

I tell you this cat has a very funny personality!

I made a tuna sandwich the other day and since I wouldn't

share with her-she sulked in the corner where her bed was....

then she took off like a crazy thing running around the house,

and then she moved her bed while she sat in it

loudly protesting....

she is such a goof!!
