Cloth Diapers and Cloth Wipes are you Serious?!

Well, some of you know that I have traveled into the land of cloth diapering.

These are a few in my stash and a picture of the wipes I made:

(I use one size pocket diapers.)

It has been rewarding to see how much money we have saved by doing cloth.

It really has been a "great experience".

Laundry was my biggest fear:

but I just had to learn to be more disciplined with my laundry.

How many of you concider your laundry being your worst enemy?!

It such a struggle and an necessary evil-lol.....but I came to the realization

that no matter how much I hated these routine "chores" they were going to be there until I die...

so  I had to just smile and be thankful that I had a family to take care of.

How else would I be able to keep the title of "Super Mom"?! lol

I do a load of diapers everyday to once in a while every other day.

It has many benifits:

I save money-our grocery budget was going into buying diapers-now it can go into what it is ment

for...gorceries.

I also don't have to worry about chemicals being on my daughter.

They put a lot of chemicals on those commercial diapers-I didn't want her having to deal with

the potential absorption of these chemicals.

(Since skin is our largest organ
I wanted to protect her skin since we do absorb what goes on our skin)

Well, that is a few reasons from my list.

It's Friday and that means Family Fun Day.

Off to do some bargain shopping and eating. Hopefully healthy eating..lol

So for the tell me part of this post:

I want to know:

Have you tried cloth diapering?

Do you know someone who does?

What are your fears of cloth diapering?

Where is your favorite place to get your diapers?

What kind of diapers do you have?

Do you have any tips or tricks that help you for the day to day?

I would love to know and can't wait to hear your responses!

I used cloth diapers with my 2 year old and have since he was a week old. We tried every kind of diaper under the sun and finally settled on cotton prefolds with Flip covers. We do diaper laundry every other day currently. My least favorite part is spraying out the poopies! My favorite part is saving money and knowig there are no chemicals almost ties with that.

I just had a baby 3 days ago and I wish he was in cloth, but he is too small for what I had ready. I wasn't expecting a 6lb baby after an 8lb one!

Also, I could talk about diapers all day, LOL
