Love the Shop. I would love to have the Black Laraine (sp?) Bag Kit. There are a lot of great fabric lines.

SewLindaAnn said...

There are so, so many blogs out there you don't want your shop to get lost in the maize. I would make your heading with a Link to the shop and have it be colorful and very obvious.

Thanksgiving is over, but it was exactly what I wanted. My hubs, son and I don't live near any family so we are very "tradition specific" on our own. We cooked together and made all the different things we each like and had a wonderful meal expressing what we were thankful for. Perfect.

SewLindaAnn said...

This isn't a Bible story, but my favorite reading in the Bible are the sections I look up for specific guidance. In my Bible I can look up feelings, or special needs at the time like anxiety, or holding onto bad feelings and be directed to the passages to inspire me on.

SewLindaAnn said...

"I thank God for being HIM. For being there for the whole human race and providing the spirit we need to live, the guidance in the form of the Bible and the unconditional love he has for us all. I thank God for the life he gave me to live out the best I can. I say thank you every night before I sleep for my day, and hope for another one.

Spent most of the morning trying to get out of my driveway that was filled with about a foot of snow. Around 10 am my daughter came and picked me up and we went to Wal-Mart to get a few things. Other than that....just tried to enjooy the day.

our black friday morning was spent at the naval hospital trying to figure out why our darling 9 month old had become such a nighttime monster - seriously, she hadn't slept in 2 nights and wouldn't poop to save her life!

then that night, we went out to get check a few clothing sales. luckily it wasn't busy anymore at 8:30pm!

Marcia W. said...

I've toured the Marie-M. shop before and like their skirt patterns (think one was called Route 66). I like the gored and A-line longer skirts.

Marcia W. said...

You should consolidate blogs and move your store to Happy Homemaker et al. It will be easier for you I think, and consolidate traffic to build sales.

Marcia W. said...

What I looked forward to most for Thanksgiving was my mother and I going somewhere - so she would not have to cook (I'm a terrible cook and wonderful dishwasher) - and we could be thankful together with people we like.

Marcia W. said...

I'm blogless so skipping extra entries 5, 6, and 7.
My favorite Bible story: Noah's Ark.

Marcia W. said...

If I had pineapple, and we do, we would cut off the top, the outside, and core it. We would eat it as boats or chunks in oranges. We would plant the top in our "pineapple plantation
next to our compost. Fresh pineapple is good for you.

Marcia W. said...

I thank God for his many blessings - the food he provides and my salvation by grace.

Marcia W. said...

I stumbled upon my most recent deal. The first purchase was on sale with an automatic dollar off. The receipt had a $3 off coupon. I used this for the second purchase. That receipt had a $5 off coupon. I handed it to my mother. We had several BOGO free purchases with the $5 off in addition. Ended up with $15 saved (not counting sales prices).

Marcia W. said...

On Black Friday I stayed home and sewed / worked around the house.

Marcia W. said...

A favorite hymn is "In the Garden."

On HH&M - quilt or sewing tutorials. Photo journal.

If you could have anything what would it be?
Every family member would be saved and happy.

Marcia W. said...

It is the first day of December only a few weeks before January 1st-tell me your goal for next year-something that you want to accomplish or do...
In 2011 I want to have improved health and energy - able to do more physical work to help my mother and to make more/better quilts.
