Totally to my surprise I received a Blog Award!
After I fulfill the requirements of receiving the award I will announce The CSN WINNER!!!
I want to thank Gluten Free Motherhood so much for awarding me The Versatile Blogger Award. I am so honored to receive this! It really made my day-totally unexpected!!!
To accept the versatile blogger award the rules are as follows:
1. Thank and link back to the person who gave you the award
2. Share 7 things about yourself
3. Pass it along to 15 blogs you've recently discovered and enjoy
4. Leave your recipients a note telling them about the award
SHARE "7" THINGS ABOUT MYSELF
{there are more than 7}
I asked my readers to give me questions to answer and this is what they cam up with- I really appreciated their participation in this award!! What a nice group of followers I have!!
1. http://www.freebiespot.net/ asked:What's your favorite thing to photograph?
I like to photograph my family, nature...I guess it is just about everything
{Course my husband is sitting here saying that I like to take pictures of feet-he is so ornery! It is because for VBS I took pictures of the kids feet as they were lined up to go inside-I thought it was very artistic}
2. LAMusing asked- How did you meet your husband?
I met my husband at college-three years later we got married:) He is the love of my life-I am so blessed to have him as mine!
3.AnnCrabs asked: What is the most difficult challenge you have faced in life?
My most difficult challenge that I have faced is coming to the realization that I probably will not be able to have another child{I know that God can do miracles-but speaking at this point and time He has said no}.
I have a disease that causes some troubles and the "symptoms" affect me in so many ways and I face them everyday-but still the Lord has the power to heal and He can if He wanted to. I rest knowing that He has a reason and a plan-not to say that it doesn't affect me-I have moments of tears sometimes often-but I am thankful for the blessing and miracle that I have and yet don't deserve
4.Lollimom asked: If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to?
When I was growing up I was teased often about my name. When I would write in my diary I always signed my name as Tabbitha Marie-so at that point and time that is what I would of changed it to. Now-I like my name-it is different but it has grown on me. I am easily remembered by it as well-though I am sure my goofiness and loving to have fun and live life makes a memory as well.
5. Lollimom also asked: What is/was your most embarrassing moment?
I have them so often how could I choose one over another? Let's see... oh, one time I walked into the men's bathroom instead of the girls-when I saw the u know what's on the wall I asked myself why in the world they would have those in the woman's bathroom...that is when it hit me that I was in the wrong one!
In my defense they put the men's on the right and the woman's on the left...in McD's woman's is on the right and men on the left..so I am innocent somewhat-I also blame the Pregnancy brain as well-I was expecting Caleb at that time-and you know how your brain is spending so much time in helping God to form this precious miracle that you are preoccupied and do stupid things?!
anyways that is my alibi and I am sticking to it ; ) I am sure that my friends could come up with a few more stories....but this was one of the first ones that came to mind {sad it was 5 years ago-I am sure I did something weird and embarrassing more recent}
6. Scrappy Gifts asked: Favorite scripture?
Here is one of my favorites:John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." This gives the human race hope that through Jesus Christ alone there is forgiveness from our sins; and that we were loved so much that Jesus would die such an agonizing death for us-to save us from our own sin. Another favorite is:
Romans 10:9-13
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." I like this because it is the simple plan of how to be saved-because it isn't by what we do or have done by His mercy that He saves us.
7. Scrappy Gifts also asked: Favorite books, movies, family games, ice cream? Earliest memory? Best date ever?
Favorite Books:
Bible, Created to Be His Help Meet, many different "help to make you better" books-like Elizabeth George's books, if I am going to take time to read I want it to be beneficial to me-not to make time fly or to entertain me-I want to learn something new that I can apply in my life "spiritually".
Favorite Movies:
Fireproof {was really good}, Anne of Green Gables series,Pride and Prejudice {keira knightley one}, Sense and Sensibility, I like the historical era type movies with all the flowing gowns...
Favorite family Games:
Just being together is my favorite-it can be just going for a walk-or to Longwood gardens-I love being with my family!
Favorite Ice Cream:
Calorie free! If there were such a thing...but in the mean time I like mint chocolate chip-cookies and cream-Strawberry cheesecake-vanilla.....yum Oh not sure if this counts but I like Strawberry milkshakes from McD's and Toffee Coffee Twisted Frosty from Wendy's.
Earliest Memory:
This one isn't that easy.....my most exciting and earliest memory was when my little brother was born-he was so tiny-my mom called him a little sausage...he had to be incubated because of his size as well-I do love my brother and miss him so much-it is hard being 7 hours away from family-but this is what the Lord has for us at this time-no regrets!
Best Date Ever:
Every single date is my best date ever-I love being with my hubby-on tuesday- since little boy wonder is in school we get to go out on lunch date's- I really like getting the chance just to "date" again : )
8.nape asked: Are you an independent person? If so, in what ways?
Yes and no-I can do my own thing at anytime, but I am dependent on my hubby as well. If something happened {God Forbid} to my husband and I had to be on my own I could survive-this is something that my husband has taught me-that I can still go on without him-it might be painful but I can do it-and I can get my strength from God to do it. I guess you can say my husband has helped me to be independent-he is such a wonderful man!
9 Create with Joy asked:What state do you live in?
I live in the state of denial that I am growing older, and also in the state of fun, laughter, humor, love and the list goes on and on....I also live in PA.
10 Create with Joy also asked:
How long have you been blogging? What got you interested / how did you get started?
Wow I had to actually look this one up......8-12-07-so 3years I have been blogging. I got interested because we lived so far away from family I thought that it might be a nice tool to keep them updated with what was going on in our lives.
More about your faith.
I am a born again believer. This means that at one particular time in my life I realized what God had done to save me from my sin. He sent His only son to die for me-little smaller than a speck of dust me-I don't believe that I have ever met anyone else that would love me that much! I knelt down one day and prayed that they Lord would take away my sin and forgive me of my wrong doings and come and live in my heart. I also prayed that He would take my life and have me live it for Him-I gave Him the reigns/control of my life.
How did you spend your CSN winnings! :-)
I just spent the $50 CSN gift certificate on getting a power inverter for in the car so that I can use my laptop when we are traveling
The $35 Review CSN I was given I spent on getting a tripod for my camera:
The $100 CSN I am debating on getting myself a serger-we will see ; )
ALRIGHT-all you ever wanted to know about me huh?! Just kidding I am sure there is more that you would like to know-but this will do for right now:)
